Hi,
Maxis FastTap is indeed easy to use as it is simply replacing your credit card with a mobile phone upon doing any transaction.
Hence, robbers will start to divert their attention to your handsets rather than your purse. After stealing your handsets, they will use your mobile phones to purchase whatever they desire. They will have that little extra time to do so as you have lost your mobile phone to contact the person-in-charge to terminate your account. Therefore, one should be protective of one's belongings at all times especially those who make use of this service. You'll never know that you might be the next target after being noticed using the Maxis FastTap service.
Cheers.
hi galaxycharm,
yes, we do not deny the fact that Maxis
FastTap presents vulnerability to its users.
however, as it is a fairly new payment system, further study is required to fully understand how the system works. Besides, we believe that such payment system should have its own securty system to protect and to give assurance to its users.
